The ENTPE has 2 bicycle shelters protected against the rain, but not monitored. In addition, a Vélo'v station is located rue Maurice-Audin, at the foot of the cultural center Charlie-Chaplin and near the Town Hall.

>  > From Part Dieu and the south of the city

A cycle path runs along the route of the T3 tramway from Part Dieu station to La Soie station and beyond. The cycle path crosses the canal via the Silk Bridge, continues on Avenue Paul Marcellin to the east of the campus then via Avenue Salvador Allende to the north.

> From Part Dieu and the Brotteaux district

A cycle path / cycle lane takes Cours Lafayette then Rue du 4 August 1789, recently extended to cross the ring road then the canal and reach the campus via a path on Avenue Gabriel Péri or by accommodating the C3 route on Rue Paul Teste / Rue Cuzin .

Estimated time: 25 minutes from the station.

>  > From the Brotteaux district and the center of Villeurbanne

Crossing the railway tracks via rue Récamier / rue des Emeraudes. A cycle path is set up along Boulevard Emile Zola (Charpennes - Cusset) then crosses the ring road and the canal.

Estimated time: 25 minutes.

Alternatively, cycle lane rue Gabriel Péri / Avenue Salengro from Charpennes, crossing the ring road and the canal by a cycle path rue de la Feyssine, or with cars from the Croix-Luizet bridge, then rue Lucette and René Desgrand, to the north from St-Jean, rue Ernest Renan, finally Promenade Lénine from Place Guy Môquet to Mas du Taureau.

Alternatively, cross the Parc de la Tête d'Or and the Campus de la Doua to the Croix-Luizet bridge.

>  > From the banks of the Rhône and the peninsula

Join one of the previous routes.

Estimated time: 40 minutes.

Take the cycle path on the banks of the Rhône and the Parc de la Feyssine to the Croix-Luizet bridge.

Estimated time: 45 minutes.

>  > From the Lyon Part Dieu SNCF station

Join the “Jule Favre” Bus C3 stop towards Vaulx-en-Velin La Grappinière. “Vaulx-Hôtel de Ville – Campus” stop,

  then follow “Pedestrian Planetarium”.

>  > From the Lyon Perrache SNCF station

Metro A direction “Vaulx-en-Velin la Soie”, “Laurent Bonnevay” stop (see below).

>  > From the “Laurent Bonnevay” stop.

Bus C3 or C8, stop “Vaulx – Hôtel de Ville-Campus”, then follow “Pedestrian Planetarium”, Or Bus 57 stop “ENTPE”.

“Rhônexpress” tram – “Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie” stop, then bus C8 direction "Vaulx-en-Velin  resistance" - stop "Vaulx - Hôtel de Ville – Campus", then follow “Pedestrian Planetarium”.

>  > From the Laurent Bonnevay ring road

Exit “Villeurbanne Cusset/Vaulx-en-Velin center”, Follow Hôtel de Ville.  From the Eastern Ring Road N346, Exit Vaulx-en-Velin/Décines-Les Marais, direction Vaulx-en-Velin, then follow ENTPE – School of Architecture.

>  > From the highway

-   arriving from Paris (A6), direction Marseille, Rocade Est, exit Vaulx-la-Rize

-   arriving from Geneva (A42) direction Marseille, Rocade Est, exit Vaulx-la-Rize

-   arriving from Grenoble or Chambéry (A43), via the ring road, direction Bourg-Genève, Vaulx-en-Velin center exit, or by the Eastern Ring Road, direction Paris, exit Vaulx-la-Rize

-   arriving from Marseille (A7) or St-Etienne, at Chasse-sur-Rhône: direction Paris via Rocade Est, Vaulx-la-Rize exit.

In all cases, in Vaulx en Velin, follow the ENTPE - School of Architecture signs.

Parking within the campus, entrance via rue Maurice Audin, or parking at the intersection of rue Hô Chi Minh and rue Condorcet.
